Wedding at the Abbey of San Vittore

Erika and Aldo’s story

Every wedding has its own magic, and Erika and Aldo’s was no exception. Set in the charming Abbey of San Vittore, this event was a true concentration of emotions, vibrant colors, laughter, and pure fun.

Here’s how this unforgettable day unfolded..

The Preparations

I arrived at Erika’s house around 2 PM and was welcomed by an atmosphere of serenity and joy. The vibrant colors of the bouquet and the corsage bracelets on the bridesmaids’ wrists brightened the very first moments of a lively and radiant day. Erika wore a Gabriella Sposa gown with the most delicate embroidery, her hair loose and adorned only with a floral clip, enhanced by a flowing veil. With her radiant smile, she was preparing to embrace the day with natural elegance and a hint of playful spirit.

Meanwhile, Aldo arrived at the farmhouse accompanied by his three friends and Erika’s two brothers, who were also his witnesses. Aldo too, dressed in original and refined pastel tones, appeared calm. Despite the few hours left before the ceremony, the atmosphere was already filled with excitement for the upcoming celebration.

The Ceremony

The ceremony, officiated by Azzurra, was intense and moving, marked by the evocative handfasting ritual. This symbolic gesture added a layer of meaning and beauty to the most important moment of the day.

Couple Portraits

After the ceremony, we moved to the surroundings of Badia San Vittore to take natural couple portraits with a vintage touch, exactly as Erika and Aldo had wished. The fields, the bamboo grove, and the vineyard surrounding the venue served as the perfect backdrop for spontaneous, romantic, and fun shots.

The Reception and Celebration

Back at the reception, the magic continued with the celebration. Friends and family gathered around a beautifully decorated table with candles and flowers, framed by the enchanting Badia San Vittore. The evening continued with the music of the Bliss Delight Jazz Band, which set the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable party.

The notes of Erika and Aldo’s special song, “Stand by Me”, accompanied the conclusion of a wedding that will remain in the hearts of all those present, myself included. It was a joyful and intense event—a true privilege to tell such important moments through photography, for two souls ready to laugh and cherish every moment together.
